PostNomad: Nomadic Roguelike RPG City-Builder
PostNomad is a strategic and tactical RPG about leading your tribe of nomads through a procedurally generated post-post-apocalyptic world, with the end goal of reaching the promised land where crops can grow on a mass scale and your people can prosper. Heavily inspired by FTL, Oregon Trail and Darkest Dungeon. PostNomad is being developed for PC and Android devices.

Gameplay
PostNomad takes inspiration from JRPG games in the fighting system, FTL with its roguelike and progression mechanics, and city builder games as you grow your tribe and village at each location. Each day, the player assigns their tribe members to tasks such as scavenging, crafting items, hunting and foraging, or defending the camp. As your tribe members gain experience from accomplishing tasks, they will level up. It will be up to the player to build their tribe members into competent fighters, craftsmen, hunters and scouts if they are to survive this dangerous world. Speaking of danger, your characters will have to survive against the many threats of the current world, such as horrifying wildlife, hostile opposing tribes and bandits, as well as natural events such as dust storms and the cold. Every location and event in the world is procedurally generated, causing a different playing experience on every single playthrough.
Plot
PostNomad takes place hundreds of years after an apocalyptic event wiped out the majority of mankind. Humans have lost knowledge of the old world, and your tribe is just one of many trying to survive. You have no concept of rebuilding humanity, you only want to bring your tribe through to the next day. However, those who came before you passed down the legend of a promised land far to the east, where crops are able to grow on a large scale. As the chief of your tribe, you must lead your people to this promised land to secure your continued existence. Will you survive the journey? What will you give up along the way to ensure that you make it?
Features
- Procedurally generated world with randomized locations, dangers, and events for you to deal with in the style of FTL
- Strategic, city builder gameplay - command your tribe on the macro level as you send them out on tasks, stay back to defend camp, upgrade your camp and construct new buildings, make choices in random events, and decide when to pack up and move
- Tactical, turn-based combat - lead your tribe members in combat as you fight in a JRPG style combat system during encounters. Fight against wildlife as you send your people to hunt, bandits as you scavenge, or hostile tribes and abominations that might try to raid your camp
- A random event system with different options that will have different impacts on your tribe and your journey
- A dark, post-apocalyptic, cave painting inspired aesthetic and story
- Crafting, building and looting system for character and overall progression as you unlock better gear to progress further toward the promised land to the east

Found a bug after I killed all the enemies in a fight, the battle didn't end.
having an issue on both chromium and firefox where the UI disappears mid fight after my character levels up for the first time which causes a soft lock.
